Debt Limit?

This isn't a "debt limit" this is a debt target.

They guarantee this money will be spent and we will have to do this again at a later date.

This wasn't a 'win' for the tea party.  The tea party was supposed to spend less, not reduce the rate of acceleration.

Only in DC does a "baseline" slope.

An interesting factoid from reading today: If we kept current not projected spending levels; TODAY's spending levels for nine years the CBO would call that a $9 TRILLION dollar reduction.

But we can't even afford that. We borrow somewhere around 41-43 cents of every dollar spend on the feral level.

No to put spending in line with revenues we would have to go back to the stone ages in terms of government spending: 2004!!!!

These people are crooks.  EVERY single one of them.

Race Card

Headline on Drudge (in red) today says "Dem flashes race card in debt debate"

It links to a story where Shiela Jackson Lee keeps questioning "why this president" is being treated differently than all others.

She claims that is because of his skin tone.  When in actuality it is as MLK would say "the content of his character."

Why are Republicans and Independents so driven to make sure the ZERO doesn't get re-elected?  BECAUSE HE'S A FUCKING COMMUNIST, not because he's black.   Although an argument could be made that he is a commie because of his race and his ancestry (of which we know anyway)

It's everywhere.

Ten Rules For Liberty Guerillas

Rule 8 guarantees a loss, if not death.

This is the point that the FREEFOR doesn't get.  The FREEFOR's mentality of "fair play" means nothing to the anti-liberty OPFOR.  They don't care about rules. Only winning.  

As long as the FREEFOR refuses to pass that "lawful" line then that is exactly the line they will be pushed to.

This isn't a game with a time limit at the end of which someone will total up the score and say "you win!" There is no scoreboard, there is no referee to tell either side which play is out of bounds.


This only ends with the extinguishing of the "Shining Light on the Hill" or the eradication of totalitarian anti-liberty ideas.

And that light is getting fainter by the day.

Silver and Gold

I just wanted to make clear something I have not seen elsewhere.

People constantly talk about an inflation adjusted price of gold from its 1980 high.  The number thrown about is $2250 in 2010 dollars compared to the nominal price in 1980 dollars of $850.

By that same rationale Silver which everyone says in "parabolic" and a bubble now would necessarily need to be at $128 today to be the inflation adjusted as the same Hunt brothers high from 1979 or $48.70.

It's under $50 today.

Not even discussing the AU/AG Ratio.

So silver was unquestionably 'overbought' by the Hunts.

But I don't think calling it at less that 40% of it's all time high in inflation adjusted dollars means its overbought today.
